General Conditions

All purchasing transactions effected through the website https://www.wiligo.com as well as the transportation contract are entered into with Wiligo, a company registered under the number 0915556000401.

By purchasing a ticket the passenger accepts all legal conditions of the General Terms of Transportation mentioned below.


The price of the ticket includes the ferry voyage to and from the islands. The ticket is electronic and it's value is in the reservation number, not the sheet of paper. The ticket is only valid for the date and time specified on the ticket.

Even if an electronic ticket is enough, we strongly recommend to print your ticket and to carry this printed ticket. The ticket is always available and downloadable in your account too. If you are encounter a technical issue, and if requested in time, the tickets can be redelivered by email.

The passenger ticket is only valid for the person, ship, accommodation and departure time indicated on it. The ticket is not transferable. Unless explicitly stated to the contrary the price of the ticket is per person and seat, excluding food. It also includes the VAT if applicable.

Mode of payment

Wiligo uses Paypal solution.

User can pay :

  • by a registered Paypal account,
  • by credit card.

The following credit cards are also accepted (without Paypal registration): VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS.

Due to the coded SSL system (secure socket layer) all transactions are absolutely safe. All transactions are effected in Thaï Baht (THB). In order to guarantee the highest possible security for you the check digit has to be entered.

The payment transactions will be effected at the time of the ticket purchase once the "Confirm" button was activated.
Fares and charges are payable in the currency selected with our published fares unless otherwise specifically stated by us. All fares, prices, trip schedules, routes published, and services are correct at the time of publication and are subject to change at any time and from time to time without prior notice. Fares may exclude administration fees, service charges and other charges unless otherwise specifically stated by us.

Local tax (Pak Bara-Pier) & service fees

Pak Bara - Pier :
You will have to pay a fee of 20 THB at the pier to enter the Tarutao National Park. This fee is not included in the ticket price.

Koh Lipe - Taxi Boat Pick-up:
On arrival to Koh Lipe, you will be required to pay the Tarutao National Park entry fee of 200 THB per adult and 100 THB per child. This fee is not included in the ticket price. Once you have paid this fee, you are allowed to visit any of the National Park islands for a week.
From November until early May the floating pier is located in front of Pattaya Beach. From the end of May to October the floating pier is located in front of Sunrise Beach. Longtail boats will take you from the floating pier to any beach on Koh Lipe for 50 THB per person.

Booking confirmations

Directly after making a booking, you will be issued with a pending booking note and corresponding email. The booking of a ferry boat seat is then confirmed once we have issued you a booking number and/or the Itinerary. Fares must be paid in full when a booking is made. In the event that the fare has not been paid in full for any reason whatsoever, we reserve the right to cancel the booking prior to check-in and to instruct the ferry company to disallow you to board the ferry boat. If the customer has not received their confirmation e-ticket within 24 hours after receiving their payment confirmation, please immediately contact us so we can reissue your ticket. If we have not been contacted within 24 hours prior to the departure time, Wiligo cannot be held responsible if the customer does not receive their ticket on time.

Cancellations & delays

Local ferry, taxi and minivan companies reserve the right to vary the service in any way whatsoever without any liability to the passenger. They also reserve the right to cancel a booking or change the schedule at anytime prior to poor weather conditions or any circumstances beyond the reasonable for any safety reason. Cancellations are done for the safety and comfort of traveling passengers. Wiligo shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury which may arise in the event of cancellation or delay of the service. The company shall not be liable in any way for the cost of any accommodation or for any alternative means of travel which may arise through cancellations or delays. Additional expense so arising shall be the sole liability and responsibility of the passenger.

Refunds & rescheduling

No refunds will be given once a booking has been made.
Save in exceptional circumstances, refunds will only be issued at our discretion.
Rescheduling is based on seat availability, especially in high season periods. We will be able to charge a small fee. In the event of a trip cancellation from the company, the company shall refund any funds paid by the passenger direct to the company. If, for some reason you have to purchase a new ticket because the one you had wasn't accepted by the ferry staff, refunds will be issued only when a scanned image of your second purchase has been sent to us as evidence of your purchase.


Passengers must arrive no later than the check-in time specified on the boarding pass, failure to do so could result in the forfeit of your paid ticket. Ferry boat boarding will generally close 5-10 minutes before departure time and there will be no refunds or rescheduling of boats if the departure times are missed. Boat staff may allow you on board the next boat if there is one available at their discretion only.


Proof of identity, tickets and relevant documents can be checked at any time at the ports or on board. Therefore, you should always carry with you: proof that you are eligible for a reduced fare, valid ID and your ticket (if you have one).

Same Day Flights

Ferry companies are point to point carriers and do not take responsibility for delays or connecting flights, taxis and minivans. We do not recommend that our customers book ferry trips on the same day as their flights. If for any reason same-day ferry trips are unavoidable, please leave as much time as possible.

General Behavior

Once at the departing pier, passengers should comply with the instructions of the ferry company's servants and agents concerning all matters connected with the service and should comply with any notice exhibited on the vessel. Ferry companies reserve the right to refuse to carry any passenger or goods without assigning reason.
The passenger is liable for any damage to the ship its equipment and facilities, other passengers, crew, temporary workers and third persons caused by him or by persons or pets under his supervision. The passenger is also liable for any sanctions, fines and tickets imposed on the carrier by any authority of any country for actions committed by him.

Physical Notice

We recommend caution for any customer traveling who is pregnant or has any heart or back problems or other physical impediments. Each ferry boat company will provide their own passenger insurance to cover any losses as well as insurance from the the Thailand Tourism Authority to cover personal injury or loss. Wiligo and its agents shall not be responsible for and shall be exempt from all liabilities in respect of loss, damage, injury, accident, delay or any inconvenience to any person or his/her luggage or any personal property, whether in respect of the voyage to and from the Island, under any circumstances whatsoever.

Disabled persons or persons with restricted mobility

Disabled persons or persons with restricted mobility must inform the carrier on reservation and upon arrival in the port. They must be at the port at least one hour before departure to enable the crew to make any special arrangements necessary.

Unaccompanied children

Children below age 12 will not be accepted onto a ferry unless they are accompanied by a person of at least 18 years of age.


Passengers are requested to be at boarding time and location as specified on the boarding pass. Boarding is not guaranteed for passengers arriving later than the specified boarding time.


This is not normally an issue with bookings made with Wiligo, though we recommend a maximum of 2 pieces luggage not exceeding a total weight of 20kg. Local ferry companies reserve the right to check contents of any baggage, and to refuse baggage items (though this is highly unlikely). Label your baggage clearly for ease of collecting at your arrival point. Travellers carry valuable or fragile items at their own risk. Such items include money, jewellery, precious metals, silverware, electronic devices, computers, cameras, video equipment, negotiable papers, securities or other valuables, passports and other identification documents, title deeds, artifacts, manuscripts and the like.

Foot passengers are allowed to take hand luggage on board free of charge. The luggage which may contain personal belongings of the passenger can be carried in suitcases, boxes or similar containers which are not bulky. Their measurements should not exceed the following: 200 cm in height, 100 cm in length and 50 cm in depth. The passenger is responsible for taking his own luggage to his cabin or allocated seat. Canoes, kayaks and other items exceeding the maximum measurements. Special tariffs apply for this kind of luggage.

In the event of theft or damage the shipping company does not take responsibility for any such items.

The shipping company does not assume responsibility regarding carry-on luggage that remain in the custody of the passenger, even when placed in areas designated for that purpose, except to prove a lack of it.

Illegally possessed luggage

Any passenger carrying on his person or luggage or vehicle illegal substances and/or articles or contraband is liable to the carrier or other relevant bodies for any damages, fines and tickets resulting from bringing them on board.


It is forbidden to carry on board stabbing and fire arms, explosives, fuels and other dangerous or inflammable substances without the written consent of the carrier and the legal permission required to be provided by the passenger. If permission is given to transport these articles they must be handed over to the on board commissioner during boarding and they will be returned to the passenger upon arrival at destination.


Pets are welcome on board and may walk around freely except in the restaurant. Dog breeds classified according to the relevant laws and regulations as dangerous are not allowed on board. In specific cases the onboard personnel may impose certain restrictions. The shipping company may require a valid vaccination and health certificate less than 3 months old. Dogs have to be kept on a leash and must wear a muzzle.

Personal Information

You hereby acknowledge and agree that your personal information has been given to us for the purposes of making travel bookings and providing you with confirmation of that booking, accounting, billing, checking credit card payments, statistical analysis, and helping us in any future dealings with you. By entering into a contract of carriage with us, you authorize us to retain and use your personal data specifically for the purposes above.


The language of these Terms & Conditions is English and even though there may be translations of these Terms & Conditions in other languages, English shall be the sole language used in the interpretation of these Terms & Conditions.

Conditions of use

  • The present page and its total contents, including text and pictures (moving and still), the structure, programming etc. are protected by copyright.
  • Wiligo allows the digital reproduction of the page on your computer in order to view the internet page in your browser. Printing on paper is also allowed. It is allowed to link the home page of the website https://www.wiligo.com without frame. The linking of any other page is forbidden.
  • Any circulation or marketing of the whole or of parts of the website, irrespective of the form, is strictly forbidden.
  • Any other unforeseen usage is forbidden and requires explicit consent by Wiligo. Except for the use prescribed herein it is forbidden to reproduce the trademarks and logos of the website, to put hyperlinks on elements of the website, to use or copy the data base of the website except for the homepage, to use the programs used by the website.
  • Wiligo makes all efforts to ensure that all information present in the website is correct and complete. Wiligo guarantees you the reliability and availability of the offers presented in the website.
  • Wiligo does not take responsibility for any problems that may arise in connection with calling the website as well as for bad functioning of the website. On principle, Wiligo rejects any responsibility for any failure of the internet interfering the normal use of the website.
